Lucas Ewart, President, CEO & Director
Mr. Ewart is a Founding Principal of GC-Global Capital Corp., a public merchant bank specializing in securitized bridge loans. Mr. Ewart has international experience ranging from institutional trading to corporate restructuring. He has previous worked with W.D Latimer & CO, Marleau Lemire Securities, Thompson Kernaghan & Company and Voice IQ Corporation. Mr. Ewart maintains an Investment Council and Portfolio Management license with the Ontario Securities Commission as well as a Limited Market Dealers License.
Julie Lassonde
Ms. Lassonde has over 14 years of experience in various financial and engineering fields including work as a civil engineer with SNC-Lavalin and investment banking experience with Macquarie Bank Ltd. in Australia and the USA. Ms. Lassonde holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Queen's University. She is currently a director of Halo Resources Inc., past President and CEO of Garson Gold Corp. and past director of Takara Resources Inc. and St. Eugene Mining. She is also a Board Member of the Canadian Engineering Memorial Foundation, sits on the board of the fundraising committee for Queen's Universoty Engineering Campaign and is a member of the Advisory Board for Civil Engineering at the University of Toronto.
Gene McLean, Director
Mr. Gene McLean is an executive Security Advisor and Principal of McLean Security Advisory & Associates Inc. Mr. McLean specializes in corporate, government and private sector organizations consulting on security and risk management. Mr. McLean brings over 35 years of relevant experience and most recently was the Vice President and Chief Security Officer for TELUS Corporation. Mr. McLean is a life Member of the Canadian Association of Chief of Police, an Associate Member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police. He has and continues to serve on a number of boards including the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA), a federal government appointment and as President and Chairman of the Board of the Canadian Society for Industrial Security.
Jason Ewart, Director
Mr. Ewart is the Director and Chief Operating Officer of GC Global Capital Corp. (GDE.V)., a publicly traded Canadian Merchant Bank. GC Capital Corp. has successfully financed numerous resource companies listed on the Toronto Venture Exchange (TSX-V). Mr. Ewart has extensive experience in bridge financing, financial analysis, quantitate modeling, equities trading and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Ewart holds an economics degree from McGill University.
Borys Chabursky , Director
Mr. Chabursky is the President and Founder of SHI Consulting and the Chairman of SHI Capital. He oversees all aspects of strategy and capital raising for SHI's clients. He specializes in strategic planning, capital sourcing and business development.. He has also provided interim management for 7 start-ups and has provided angel financing to 18 start-ups in the life science, service, mining, IT and entertainment sectors.
Robert Power, Director
Mr Power brings corporate leadership and a broad range of experience in natural resources, energy, environment, law and business. Mr. Power is the Executive Board Chair of Wescorp Energy, a clean water technology company serving the oil and gas sector, and is a board member of CanAm Coal, a TSXV listed company with operating coal assets in Alabama. He recently completed a 5 year term as Co-Chair of Blakes national energy law group. Blakes is one of Canada's oldest, largest and most successful international law firms. He has signifigant public and private business and legal experience, and has been a board member of various natural resources public comapnies
