Mid-North Files Geological Report on Central Manitoba Property

Calgary, Alberta, July 4, 2005 – Mid-North Resources Limited (MNU – TSX Venture) announces that it has commissioned a geological report (the "Report") on its Central Manitoba Properties located 25 kilometers southeast of the town of Bissett, Manitoba and 160 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg consisting of approximately 2,818 hectares of unpatented mineral claims owned 100% by Mid-North (the "Property"). The Report on the Property, dated June 17, 2005, was prepared by G. S. Carter, P.Eng. of Broad Oak Associates, Toronto, Ontario. The Report summarizes the results of the completed work and makes recommendations for further exploration work on the Property.
