June 11, 2008 - Toronto, Ontario - Bison Gold Exploration Inc. ("Bison Gold" or the "Company") (CNQ: BGEI) today announced the completion of a non-brokered private placement financing for gross proceeds of $764,945. The proceeds of the financing will be used to fund the Company's ongoing exploration programs in the province of Manitoba.
The Company has issued 5,099,634 flow-through shares at $0.15 per share for gross proceeds of $764,945. The Company paid a cash commission of $15,000 and issued 100,000 broker warrants for the financing. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the Company at a price of $0.20 until December 11, 2009. The securities issued are subject to a four month hold period expiring on October 11, 2008.
Bison Gold has retained the services of Watts, Griffis and McOuat Ltd. ("WGM") for the review of the available reports from Wekusko Lake gold project (Apex). WGM is also asked to advise on an appropriate exploration program, if warranted, to further explore the property and advance the project towards the eventual completion of a compliant mineral resource estimate. WGM understands that this review is to assess the project parameters prior to Bison pursuing its 2008 summer exploration program and to provide ongoing project supervision as the project advances.
Previous explorers have identified and drilled a zone of gold mineralization hosted in a granitic intrusion. The mineralized zone is interpreted to be flat lying and near surface. Previous drilling has identified a small historical resource; however, none of the previous drill core or assay data is available.
