The drill rig is being mobilized to the CENTRAL MANITOBA property July 24, 2006 and drilling will begin immediately. Bison intends to complete nine initial exploratory holes on the Wentworth Vein located on the property. The number and depth of additional holes will be determined as the program develops.
The CENTRAL MANITOBA property measures approximately 10.9 square miles. It hosted two past producing mines known as the Central Manitoba mine (operating period 1927-38, production 137,817 oz Gold, average grade 0.36 oz/t) and the Rockland-Ogama mine (operating period 1942-43 & 1948-51, production 45,445 oz Gold, average grade 0.33 oz/t).
